Porto Cedro Tawny

Cedro, cedar that the wind wanted to take, but that the Douro didn’t let. The Porto Cedro brand reflects the character of its winegrowers: passionate, dedicated and unique! Produced in the demarcated Douro region – one of the most beautiful in the world – it is a unique wine that holds two characteristics that make it special: sweetness and balance. It has a fresh and delicate aroma of spices and dried fruits acquired during aging in oak wood. In the mouth it is an elegant wine, which presents a good balance between ripe tannins and sweetness. With notes of fine wood and vanilla, dominated by raisins, dried fruits and cinnamon, which gives it a persistent and complex finish, but at the same time delicate and harmonious. Elegant wine, excellent aperitif, or ideal to accompany desserts, especially regional sweets, desserts with caramel or coffee, apple pie or a traditional burnt cream. It also goes very well with strong cheeses.
